Community Oasis Counseling & Training, LLC is dedicated to providing comprehensive behavioral health services to individuals with problems of addiction, anger management and parenting within Middle Georgia and surrounding areas. We are committed to helping people develop skills necessary to facilitate change and improve their personal and professional lives.
Additionally, we offer training to all counselors in need of professional development and seeking certification in the field of addiction counseling. Community Oasis Counseling & Training strives to be your primary community service provider for behavioral healthcare. We will devote serious effort toward providing superior services in substance abuse treatment, anger management and professional development (CEUs) and agency staff trainings. We promise to deliver comprehensive assessments that will lead to a personalized individual treatment for recovery that will help you and/or your loved one live a happier, more productive life. The delivery platform has temporarily changed for your safety and ours during the COVID-19 virus pandemic, but the quality of services remain the same.
Our staff consist of certified Master Addiction Counselors with 20+years of experience in the field. We have worked with residential treatment, intensive out-patient, and integrated treatment programs. We are also certified in anger management and provide clinical supervision in addiction counseling. Our services are appropriate for court-mandated, employer directed or self-mandated individuals.
Sandra P. Charles is co-founder of Community Oasis Counseling & Training, LLC. She earned her Master of Science degree in Counseling and Psychology from Troy University. Mrs. Charles is also an undergraduate of St. Augustine’s University in Raleigh, North Carolina with a degree in Psychology.
Mrs. Charles is a veteran of the US Air Force and has travelled extensively throughout Europe, Asia, and the Continental United States. She considers herself culturally competent and has experience working with various populations. A quote by Albert Einstein sums up her philosophy in life: “In the middle of difficulty lies opportunity”.
Over the years, Ms. Charles has worked for various organizations including some of the best and highly recognizable agencies in the state. Additionally, she has contributed to the professional development of many addiction counselors throughout the Her professional experiences include working as:
