Individual Counseling
Individual counseling for substance use disorders(SUDs), anger and stress
management using cognitive-behavioral strategies and interventions in a
private and confidential setting scheduled at your convenience. Treatment
focuses on helping individuals recognize and change their high-risk
behavior; and based on the individual's goals, develop an action plan.
Substance Abuse Therapy
Our services are based on evidence based practices using a combination of approaches to facilitate change. Modalities include cognitive-behavioral interventions, contingency management, motivational enhancement with community reinforcement by group peers. These interactive groups help incorporate information that will help participants begin establishing a recovery-orientation and evidence based strategy to guide them to more productive choices.
- Early Recovery Group - Twice weekly (8 sessions) for 60 minutes
- Relapse Prevention Group – 90 minute sessions once per week (16 sessions)
- Social Support Group – 60 minute sessions once per week (8 sessions)
*Group placement is determined by a comprehensive assessment.
Anger Management Groups
We provide a safe, structured group environment for those struggling with feelings of rage and stress. Anger Management groups focus on the consequences of anger while teaching strategies to avoid violence. Groups involve effective communication, self-awareness and stress management as productive tools for preventing anger outbursts. Ultimately, individuals develop an anger control plan that works for them. Court Ordered and self-referred clients are welcome. This group is not appropriate for individuals with personality disorders.
This group meets for 90 minutes weekly for 10 weeks on Monday evenings.
